How far of a walk is Spencer Street from Las Vegas Blvd?

Our travel agent says its like 3 blocks away and shouldn't take too long to walk from our hotel to the strip...but I just looked on google maps and it says is 6 miles! I just want to know what the real distance is..any help appreciated!!How far of a walk is Spencer Street from Las Vegas Blvd?
Your travel agent isn't being forthcoming.. It's 2.5 miles from the corner of Spencer/Flamingo to the corner of Las Vegas Blvd/Flamingo. It's certainly not 6 miles, but it's still far. That's nothing you're going to want to walk, especially since there's nothing interesting along the way. Get a new travel agent.

I assume that you are staying at the World Mark resort. If your travel agent just didn't do any research than it is just sloppiness. If he/she is trying to sell you a timeshare than it is unforgivable. The other WorldMark resort in Vegas is also in a very distant location, but at least it has a shuttle bus. If you stay on Spencer street you will either have to rent a car or take the city bus.

- If you are looking for an inexpensive large room and you don't mind being far away from the strip you should look into SouthPoint. It has a casino a pool and restaurants and a shuttle bus to the strip. How far of a walk is Spencer Street from Las Vegas Blvd?
He is wrong!!!!!!! Six miles sounds about right. And it is a long, hot walk. You could take the CAT bus though. How far of a walk is Spencer Street from Las Vegas Blvd?
Your travel agent is trying to sell you on a property that is lucrative to himself/herself.

I suggest that you just book a nice hotel on the Las Vegas Strip with a good rate at Best Of Vegas http://www.bestofvegas.com/hotels/

Have fun!
Which hotel are you at? But 6 miles sounds right if it is actually on the Strip. And it's waaaay to hot now to walk anywhere.
It is about 5 miles and not to be walked, Spencer is not a good neighbor hood to be walking , take the cat or taxi..
